As you may have heard, Swedish fashion activists WeSC Clothing are back with their spring collection and they got together some of their famous friends (known in We-speak as WeActivists) including dubstep king Skrillex and actor Peter Stormare (aka the nihilist from The Big Lebowski) to model their wares in the above lookbook video. Skrillex used to be known around here as “that guy with the crazy robot music” that the kids in the store listened to all day. But it seems like both Skrillex and dubstep, the variety of chopped and screwed electro music he helped popularize, are quickly segueing into the mainstream. And not only does he seem to be popping up everywhere these days, but every time he does, it seems like he’s wearing one of our favorite brands. Robot music or not, dude certainly has some style, and that style was in full effect at last night’s Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, where Skrillex took home a couple trophies for his trouble, and repped a few more of our favorite brands with his Sabre Sunglasses, his Wesc jacket, a pair of Creative Recreation shoes and his trademark Falling Whistles necklace.
