Jackass has become quite the empire and a lucrative one at that. Von Zipper has released a limited edition Jackass line of sunglasses and of course TruckerDeluxe has the exclusive stunna’s just for you. The Snark shades not only have the emblem on the side but is covered in the skull and crutch cross-bones decal. The Fulton (below) is a sleeker shade with the Jackass emblem on side and the Jackass decal covering the inside . The Elmore is more of an oversized shade, also sporting the side emblem and inside Jackass decal.

My favorite is the Elmore but I also love oversized huge sunglasses. Go big or go home right?

Shaka T-shirt x AMBSN

This is a new shirt available online at TruckerDeluxe. I stinking love it. It totally has the color aspect and I dig the graffiti looking script. The Shaka t-shirt is a 100% cotton slim fit tee with a screenprinted front grahpic and screenprinted neck label. Wear this and I guarantee compliments to come. Order it here.

Here at TruckerDeluxe we are bringing you first-hand cool shit all the time. Good ole Brandon is sportin’ the Meditation tee with a Connetic black hat (available online soon!). Can you see the guy meditating in the tee? Check out this exclusive interview with Connetic owner Kwong Lee.
First off give me a brief history of how you got into fashion and design?
I’ve always been into fashion and a fan of art for as long as I can remember. I grew up in the skateboarding scene in the 80′s and 90′s.  Most  skaters back then were into speed metal, but there were a select few of us that were into hip hop.  I’ve created a brand that is based on what i know, and that is the skateboarding and action sports culture that is influenced by hip hop.
How did you hookup with Luke Winter at Trucker?
I got hooked up with Luke through one of my good friends Tony D.  Tony had really good things to say about Luke and his shop.  He also thought that Connetic would be a great fit in Trucker.  So here we are.
A lot of your designs are SF staples, does this mean you are from the Bay Area?
Yes, we are based in the bay. Not all of use were born here but we’ve all been residing here for over a decade.
Where do the inspirations for your other designs come from? Trucker currently has in-stock: Bob Marley, Mr. T, Astronaut, GeishaWillow tree and San Francisco tees.
Our inspirations come from our past and present experiences.  We use the SF theme because we call the bay our home.  All of our Music artist shirts are Tributes, it’s our way of paying respect to that artist.  The Mr. T shirts is a character that we grew up watching when we were kids.  It’s called the meditation because if you look carefully there is another character in there meditating.  We use the tree with a deep root system because our slogan is “STONG ROOTS” because we at Connetic think it is very import to understand your heritage and be proud of where ever you came from.
Where can we find you, what social media outlets?
We are on Facebook. We will be on Twitter and Youtube soon.
What should we expect in the future?
More cool shit!
Hear it here first. Support fashion and rep the Bay. Go Giants! Go Sharks! C’mon 9ers.

Thursday night TruckerDeluxe HQ held the Release Party for Common Culture Clothing. The company consists of three gentlemen, Braden Ankeney who handles business matters, Michael Eman who designs the clothing and Max Nelson who handles promotions and marketing. They also sponsor several hip hop rappers, who were the entertainment of the night; Lynguistics, Chuuwee, IQ, TyBox and Ge. Here’s Danny Costello wearing one of the Common Culture button-up sweaters. The idea behind Common Culture is a great positive message. The guys feel the usual message in hip hop street wear is negative and portrayed with guns, naked girls, etc. They’re goal is to take the same style but change the color and design to have a positive essence in an artistic way. Right now they are distributing their clothing in Trucker and hope to hit the LA scene.

You can buy clothing at their website or TruckerDeluxe.com (available soon). Become friends on Facebook. I think its totally awesome that these guys are so young and doing so much! Being motivated and ambitious is pretty hot.

On the Town: Jake Peebles

Yesterday I ran into OT2 stud, Jake Peebles. Jake is a little special though and ya might not guess it by looking at him. Not only is a Trucker stud but is sponsored by good ole us. Jake is already a Pro BMX Racer at 20 years old and has been racing for the passed 15 years, you do the math. He attends Chico State and is a Marketing major, where I ran into him, in Glenn Hall. You can catch him racing his Intense BMX bike, partying with Redbull or and I quote, “sporting the sickest TruckerDeluxe gear.”

Thanks for being a badass Jake. Cute boys with hobbies like BMX or skateboarding are hot.

Coolest Kid in Class

I love attending class and seeing guys with fashion. Say hello to Chico State student, Andrew Hunter! Isn’t he awesome? If you can’t tell why, I’ll point out the obvious. He shops at TruckerDeluxe and makes himself look good, ‘nough said. Great guy, great style. Get your WESC tee here and remember to pick tee’s with color, so try here too.

Wow! What a show. I’ll be the first to admit I had no idea what to expect when I walked into Trucker tonight. Boy was I schooled cause these guys rocked!  Mute Witness and Magdalena are legit indie rockers.

First on the Trucker stage was Mute Witness, who are based out of Chico, CA. Take a quick listen on their MySpace page. The band is as follows: Rett Mathews lead vocals/guitar, Ryan Maker co-vocals/guitar, Donovan Melero drums, Daniel Nelson bass, Michael Lee keys. These guys totally reminded me of a band named The Woods, so I instantly loved them. They’ve been together for two years now and just added Donovan on the drums. These guys are lookin’ to leave their mark on the Chico scene and travel to new adventures. Follow them.

Next up on stage was Magdalena. Here they are on MySpace for a quick listen. The band’s birthday boy, James Lowe, was on drums and Brandon Mains on vocals/keys; they were missing Josh Kerney on bass. But man, ya wouldn’t have guessed! They totally filled Trucker with awesome noise, I attribute it to the keys. Their CD, which will be available on iTunes, came out in 2008 when the band was officially formed. They came together from other bands and enjoy playing leisurely for venues. I could NOT believe these young souls were married with kids.

We hooked up Ryan from Mute Witness with these legit Vans, black on black  is always a good pick. He also snatched up this Brixton Hooligan hat, which has a great product description, kudos Dan!  Rett, a bona fide hat man, was feelin’ it too! He walked away with the Brixton twill hat and  this Brixton Fedora style straw hat. Remember any v-neck shirt is in style and go for color.

Don’t get us wrong, we love jeans. But until you’ve tried on a pair of RVCA’s cotton/spandex stretch pants, you don’t know true comfort. The Romero Signature Stretch Twill II pants, designed in collaboration with pro skater Leo Romero, are the ultimate skating pants, chilling pants, working pants or ______ (fill in the blank with any activity) pants. If you’re a bigger dude, or any dude for that matter, who’s tried and failed to get a pair of pants that fits decent through the ride AND the leg, or if you’re just someone tired of being constrained by unyielding denim, you should do yourself a favor and try a pair of these. After all, if Leo Romero wears ‘em they gotta be able to perform under stress. Check out a reel of Leo doing his thing below, and check out the pants on TruckerDeluxe.com here.
