In today’s video spotlight, TruckerDeluxe’s resident video pundit and summer fashion connoisseur B-Dawg hollers at a fresh batch of JSLV tees, sweatshirts and hats, like possibly my favorite hat of all time, the San Francisco Giants inspired JSLV Signature Frisco New Era hat below. Check out full selection of JSLV apparel on TruckerDeluxe, and subscribe to the  TruckerDeluxe YouTube channel to learn the true path to enlightenment (SPOILER ALERT: It involves buying clothes).

Since its hot outside and it’s way more fun to just stay inside and think of cool shit to do on the internet, we’ve decided that every Friday we’re gonna make one of the dudes who works here put on a bunch of our clothes and then talk up methodology behind the selections, kind of like what we already do, only more official (sounding). We’re gonna call it Friday ‘Fit because alliteration always aids authors aiming at amazing additions amongst already awesome…yeah that joke went on like 2 words too long. Anyway! Today’s edition of Friday ‘Fit coincides with another semi-religious holiday here in Northern California, Lincecum Day, as any day that Giant’s pitcher Tim Lincecum takes the mound is known in SF Giants country.  We decided, therefore, that it was appropriate to start things off with the deliciously Giants-colored Orange and Black Uni t-shirt from Plan B (Actually, we originally wanted to do something totally different, but we ended up having to GO WITH PLAN B!!! OMG GET IT!!!!1??) And since we’re firm believers in dancing with the one what brung ya’, we decided to pair our Plan B shirt with some Plan B shorts, in this case the Rebound shorts, a basketball style athletic short perfect for skating, dying or chilling somewhere in between. While we trying to decide on the shoes, as if by the unseen hand of fate, a fresh shipment of Nike 6.0 and Nike SB kicks arrived at our door with a full run of pro skater Paul Rodriguez’s signature Nike SB Zoom 2.5 shoes, which will be online first thing next week. Altogether, a perfect outfit for hitting the streets for a skate sesh, hitting the court for some B-ball, or just hitting the sports bar to watch the Giants game and enjoy an adult beverage. Of those three, I’ll just let you guess which one I’m gonna opt for immediately after typing this sentence. Hint: It’s not the first two. Check out Plan B Clothing and Nike 6.0 shoes at TruckerDeluxe and check out the SF Giants beating the tar out of the Oakland A’s tonight on TV!

Tavik Dip Dye T-shirt in Red at TruckerDeluxe.com

You can’t deny that psychedelic ’60s inspired style is starting to creep back into the urban streetwear zeitgeist. And it’s not just nu-rave hipsters and post-hippie stoners copping that old school tie-dye vibe; a lot of the action sports and surfwear lines for summer and showing a retro influence. But few pieces have been as dope as the Tavik Dip Dye tee (above in Red, below in Purple) which takes the tie-dye approach and modernizes it for a cleaner look, with a three color gradient dip-dye color pattern that looks both futuristic, and retro. Check out our entire selection of Tavik men’s clothing on TruckerDeluxe.com and move your style forward, in reverse.

Comune is one of our favorite new brands on TruckerDeluxe, and fitting its Southern California roots, Comune’s summer 2011 line is full of beach-appropriate shorts and tanks for sunny days and summer nights. The Toneel Tank Top is the flagship tank, with Comune’s call to “Join the Comune” on a 100% cotton striped tank with ribbed arm and neck holes. The Nativo Tank Top is a super clean 100% cotton tank in an awesome all-over navajo print. After all: Indie rock=tired. Rocking indian=awesome. If you’re down to join the Comune, take your first Comune-ion with our selection of Comune shorts, shirts, tanks and tees for summer 2011 at TruckerDeluxe.com.

Though apparel and clothing companies donating a portion of their proceeds seems to be the new marketing gimmick du jour, Jedidiah Clothing have been quietly going about raising money for various charities since 2004. And though their various charitable pursuits – including 1% Percent For Humanity, an association of businesses dedicated to donating 1% of their profits that was founded by Jedidah – are a big part of their brand’s overall image, Jedidiah has never skimped on design or quality, as you can see for yourself with our new selection of Jedidiah tanks and t-shirts for Summer 2011. The Tide t-shirt (above) is a classic Jedidiah graphic tee, with a super clean classy design on a 100% cotton slim fit shirt. The Tremor Tank Top (below in Indigo, also available in Ice Blue) is a ribbed 30 singles jersey tank with front and back screened graphics. If you like looking good, but feeling good about it, check out Jedidiah Clothing on TruckerDeluxe.com.

Though you might not be able to pronounce any of their names, our newest wovens from Swedish trendsetters WeSC are some of the illest, not to mention classiest, shirts we have on TruckerDeluxe. The short sleeve, turquoise plaid Putte Woven (above) is the perfect choice for a warm spring night, with reinforced sleeve hems and slim fit construction to keep you looking buff B! If you’re looking for something a little more formal, the Yanik Woven (below) features a button-down collar and solid mist blue wash for a clean, unfettered look. If you’re in need of something a little snappier than the typical tee for your spring wardrobe, don’t sleep on the Superlative Conspiracy; check out our full selection of WeSC wovens, tees, hats and accessories on TruckerDeluxe.com.

Obey mastermind Shepard Fairey announced today that he is releasing 600 signed and numbered variations of his “Dark Wave” print to benefit the victims of the recent Japan earthquake and subsequent Tsunami. The 18″ x 24″ screenprints are $60 and will be available on March 24th at an unspecified time on Obeygiant.com. Get me one and I’ll pay you back. It just so happens, too, that we got some more amazing Obey for Spring 2011 online today, including the Legion Antique t-shirt (below) so while you’re waiting to hit refresh a bajillion times on Thursday, cop some Obey gear at TruckerDeluxe.com.

If you watched this weekend’s UFC 128 you, of course, already know that both Urijah Faber, making his UFC debut, and Jon “Bones” Jones, fighting in the biggest fight of his young life, came away victorious. And it just so happens that we now have in stock both fighters UFC 128 signature walk out shirts courtesy of Faber’s own apparel company, FORM Athletics. The Urijah Faber 2 UFC 128 Walk Out T-shirt (above) features a strikingly clean design as compared to the majority of MMA apparel, with minimal branding on front and back and metallic screenprint graphics. Likewise, the Jon “Bones” Jones 3 UFC 128 Walk Out T-Shirt features a uniquely straightforward design on a quality 100% cotton slim fit tee. Both of these shirts were the official walk out shirts, as seen at UFC 128, so own a piece of history courtesy of FORM Athletics, available at TruckerDeluxe.com.

The second segment of our Obey for Spring 2011 is online now, including the usual selection of dope tees (such as the three-quarter sleeve Valhalla), hoodies (like the Creature Comfort Pullover), denim and two new colorways of the already classic Obey Original Snapback. A classic 80/20 cotton/poly snapback hat, the Obey Original Snapback has a vintage deadstock feel with Obey’s instantly recognizable design. The Heather Grey/Black above is my jam, but the Original Snapback is also available in Black/Red for Bulls fans or dudes who just dig that combo. But if you’re not on board the snapback train yet, it’s definitely all good. Obey’s Spring 2011 line also includes some dope fitteds, like the Standard Issue (below) a New Era 59fifty in a sick wool/viscose blend with applique felt Obey logo for premium style. Check out our full selection of Obey apparel, denim and accessories, on TruckerDeluxe.com here.
