RVCA has always been down with supporting the best and brightest underground artists, whether through their Artist Network Program, sponsoring shows and gallery exhibits or just giving artists the chance to get their work on a shirt and see what happens. The latest artist in the long line of legit artists to get up on a RVCA tee is Mark McCoy, whose special edition Strange House t-shirt is available on TruckerDeluxe here. McCoy’s illustrations, photographs and collages have been featured in galleries, magazines and over 100 album covers. McCoy is a musician himself, having played in bands like Charles Bronson, Das Oath, and Ancestors; he also is a co-owner of Youth Attack Records. So you’re a performer, getting ready to go out on stage, and not just any stage, but a tall-ass, big time superstar stage. And you’re the type of person who people like to take photos of, because you’re a big superstar and all that, not to mention an extremely attractive young woman with a habit of wearing super skimpy outfits that emphasize your ample…lungs. And as all performers know, in basically any performer-on-stage situation the photo pit, where those people who want to take pictures of you go to take said pictures, is located directly beneath the stage, between performer and audience, where the photographers can get up close and personal, real personal, from directly beneath you. So of course, the prudent thing to do, if you’re Katie Perry, or pretty any other female pop star these days, is to wear the shortest skirt possible and let your fans read your lips (NSFW pics here). I’m not complaining, or anything, just saying.
Since Betty White is currently, like, the COOLEST PERSON EVAR! it’s only fitting that she join in the coolest trend for famous women since plastic surgery: the surfacing of scandalous old pictures/sex tapes/donkey shows. In White’s case, the photos (at least the ones that have been dug up from the archives so far) are pretty tame. Just a couple of her sitting around showing off her tits and that weird sucked-in waist thing that girls used to try to rock back then (check the links for somewhat NSFW pics). No WIN has surfaced, yet. But White is apparently not too happy that these pictures are getting into the hands of her loyal internet fanbase, who definitely can’t fap to the modern Betty White no matter how hard they may try. Ah the price of fame!
