As part of our continuing quest to gather up the illest brands in the skate and streetwear world, we’d like to welcome West Coast mainstays Diamond Supply Co to TruckerDeluxe.com. Started in 1998 as skate company by Nick Tershay (who now goes by the nom de gear Nicky Diamonds) Diamond Supply Co. quickly became a mainstay of the LA streetwear and hip-hop fashion scenes while still maintaining deep roots in skate culture, and one of the dopest skate teams in the biz. Our first shipment of Diamond Supply Co. includes the Diamondaire T-Shirt (above) and the Rise and Shine t-shirt (below), both showcasing Diamond Supply Co’s trademark diamond logo and mish mash of cultural imagery. Stay tuned for much more from Diamond Supply Co clothing at TruckerDeluxe.com.

Rapper T.I., who only just recently got out of prison after serving 7 months for having machine guns and silencers and all sorts of other gangster shit, is probably heading back there shortly, after he and his new wife were pulled over on Sunset Blvd. in Los Angeles and arrested for possession of a controlled substance last night. TMZ is reporting that the “controlled substance” in questions are styrofoam cups of purple drank aka sizzurp, known to regular people as codeine cough syrup. Dude is driving a $350,000 Maybach and he’s sippin’ on sizzurp out a styrofoam cup like a suburban teen who raided his grandma’s medicine cabinet? Dude is tripping. Whatever happened to the days when ridiculously rich people had chauffeurs to drive them around?
Here at TruckerDeluxe, we pride ourselves on carry many of the established brands dudes know and love: Obey, RVCA, Volcom. However, what we really enjoy is turning our friends and followers on to newer, up-and-coming names in the men’s apparel world. The latest brand to find a home on TruckerDeluxe is life/after/denim. life/after/denim is a Los Angeles-based menswear brand that introduced their first line just last year, in fall of ’09. Seeing the word “denim” in their name, you might, of course, think that they make denim. But life/after/denim, as a closer inspection of its name suggests, focuses on everything but denim, believing that there’s certainly more than enough denim out there to be had. Instead, they focus on creating “timeless classic pieces” to be worn with the denim you already have, such as the Westpoint long sleeve shirt. Available in both grey and white, the Westpoint is made from 100% cotton solid dobby stripe material, with the sort attention to detail – button closures for rolled-up sleeves, taped seams and epaulets – that will certainly help separate life/after/denim from the crowd. Check out the Westpoint on TruckerDeluxe here, and keep an eye out for more life/after/denim coming soon.
Over the weekend the homie Cliff Chen had the chance to fire us some more pics from last week’s E3 conference in Los Angeles, including the display for the forthcoming TRON: Evolution game coming this winter. Moar pics after the jump… [click to continue…]
Our homie Cliff Chen is at the E3 Expo in Los Angeles getting up on all the new hot shit from the wild world of gaming and he was kind enough to check in with a few pics to show us all what we’re missing. Of course the big news from this year’s E3 was the debut of Sony’s Move Motion Controller for the Playstation 3 and Nintendo’s 3DS, which alongside Sony’s previously announced foray into 3D, marks the beginning of what many feel will be a 3D revolution in gaming, to which I say: about damn time! Check Cliff’s photos after the jump and stay tuned for more news from E3.
