For the majority of everyday dudes, socks were always something that you bought as many of for as cheap as possible, preferably white, preferably boring, and called it good. However, socks are starting to come into their own as a wider fashion phenomenon. Even those men ambivalent about trends in general have realized a decent pair of socks can do wonders for not just your style, but your comfort as well. All socks are not created equal, a theory proven by Stance Socks, the new socks-only company from former Element Global Marketing Director Ryan Kingman (above), who left Element to pursue what many thought was a crazy idea: creating socks specifically for the skate scene. A full year in, however, and Kingman and his partners at Stance aren’t looking so crazy. Stance takes the idea of socks out of the bulk bin and into the realm of unique, premium style and comfort, with mismatched patterns (like the Navajo patterned Reservation socks below) mix-and-match three packs, and all sorts of refreshingly out of the box ideas. Check out an awesome interview with Kingman about the ideas and history behind Stance at Rad Collector, and check our entire selection of Stance Socks for spring online now at Trucker.

Though it’s still summer outside, in the clothing world, we’re already a few weeks deep into many brands fall lines. And as usual, certain trends definitely seem to be emerging. In the skate/action sports world, this fall is all about raglan sleeves, the contrasting, diagonally stitched sleeves most readily associated with baseball shirt-style tops like the Element Sean Raglan shirt (above in Burnt Sienna, also available in Onyx) but which also look dope on a sweatshirt or hoodie, like the RVCA Castro (below in Burnt Orange Heather, also available in Brown Heather, Vintage Green Heather and Smoke). For more fall offerings from RVCA, Element and more, holler at the Clothing section of TruckerDeluxe, updated on the daily!

The Emerald collection takes Element’s legendary skate style and updates it, not just in terms of design, but also with more eco-friendly manufacturing, using recycled materials and green production techniques to create a new generation of hybrid skate/casual shoes such as the Bowery shoe (above) and the Hampton midtop boat shoe (below). Check out the rest of the pics at Radcollector, and check out Element Emerald Collection shoes and apparel at TruckerDeluxe.com.
Even though Element‘s shoe line-up was already pretty much stacked, they nevertheless decided to step things up for 2011 with their line of Emerald By Element shoes, taking some of their most popular styles and splicing in premium materials, colors and options for a higher-end look that still holds true to Element’s skate-able roots. The Emerald by Element Hampton shoes in Black Antique (above) feature the trademark Hampton midtop boat shoe design, with speckled cream midsole and suede-leather upper. The Emerald by Element Bowery shoes take the same classic canvas design and take a back a few generations with an awesome newsboy-grey colorway. More Emerald by Element shoes are definitely in the pipeline so stay tuned; in the meantime, check out selection of Element mens shoes, denim and apparel at TruckerDeluxe.com
Another day, another dope new brand hitting the internets on TruckerDeluxe.com! Today’s contestant on the Price is Right is Plan B Skateboards, which as you might have guessed from the name, is a skateboard company whose team includes some pretty bigtime skaters, such as Pat Duffy, Ryan Sheckler and Paul Rodriguez. If that that name sounds familiar, you know your skating history; Plan B skateboards was originally founded in 1991, but went dark for a good decade or so before being revived recently and coming under the umbrella of Element. Like any good skate company, besides just making skateboards, Plan B also creates its fair share of clothing, such as the Past Time t-shirt (above), which is now available for your personal enjoyment right here at TruckerDeluxe.com. Plan B recently celebrated the one year anniversary of it’s partnership with Element with a YouTube edit featuring their skate team, and clothing, in action, which you can check below.
