Although it’s just now spring, the fashion world is always one step ahead of the game, with brands unleashing their summer 2011 lines as we speak, including our friends at Brixton who’ve captured the feel of their summer collection of hats, apparel and accessories in this short, but sweet, lookbook video. If you like what you seeĀ you can find Brixton at TruckerDeluxe.com here.
Nixon is known first and foremost as makers of amazing watches, but they’re no slouch when it comes to apparel either. We just added two new Nixon tank tops to our spring 2011 collection and they both capture the clean, straightforward fashionably functional style that Nixon brings to the table in everything they make. The Striped Tank Top (above), as it’s name might suggest, is a delicious 100% cotton printed stripe tank, with chest pocket, woven Nixon patch and ribbed arm and neckholes. The Faded Tank Top (below in black/charcoal, also available in bone/white) is an even more pared down design, with a tight printed stripe pattern and the Nixon Icon logo at the chest. If you’ve ever rocked a Nixon watch, you know they’re built like a tank, so you know that Nixon tanks are built like….whatever is tougher than a tank. Nixon tank tops: built like a steel jet fighter armed with anti-tank missiles and thousand pound bombs of pure American style! Check our full selection of Nixon watches, apparel and accessories on TruckerDeluxe.com.
AMBSN has been a favorite of ours for awhile; they’re a brand with a great story who continually produce amazing, unique pieces. Our latest shipment of AMBSN for Spring 2011 includes an assortment of their awesome board shorts, and like everything AMBSN, these boardies don’t skimp on fun design, quality construction and bright, bold colors. The Kings Board Shorts (above) showcase the various kings of the jungle and forest – lions, tigers and bears (oh my!) – on 100% polyester, vintage cut seafoam green board shorts, with a contrast blue back pocket. Like their name implies, the Solid Board Shorts (below) bring a more solid, but still loud, look with Popsicle orange board shorts with blue trim and blue back pocket. If you’re looking for something a little less demure and a little more fun this summer, check out our selection of AMBSN apparel at TruckerDeluxe.com.
PROTIP: The Hundreds is HUGE! It’s only been a few weeks since our first shipment of The Hundreds for Spring 2011 came in and we’ve already sold through most of the hats, which is cool for us, but a bummer for dudes trying to cop that West Coast look on their dome. Fret not, however: we just now slapped three new styles of snap back hats from The Hundreds on the website. The Adam Snap Back (above in back, also available in Navy) is a classic 80/20 acrylic/wool snapback with The Hundred’s iconic Adam Bomb logo up front. The Side Slant Snap Back Hat (below in Black, also available in Green) features The Hundreds logo embroidery on the side and an Adam Bomb hangtag on the back for a super clean look. The Hundreds Solid Logo Snap Back Hat (bottom in Blue, also available in Red) is, like it’s name implies, the solid, old school logo snap back, with the classic Hundreds logo on the front and Adam bomb logo tag at reverse. Can’t decide which one is dopest? Buy all three. And if you want to keep the rest of your body looking as fresh as your head, you can check out our full selection of The Hundreds apparel on TruckerDeluxe.com.
If you watched this weekend’s UFC 128 you, of course, already know that both Urijah Faber, making his UFC debut, and Jon “Bones” Jones, fighting in the biggest fight of his young life, came away victorious. And it just so happens that we now have in stock both fighters UFC 128 signature walk out shirts courtesy of Faber’s own apparel company, FORM Athletics. The Urijah Faber 2 UFC 128 Walk Out T-shirt (above) features a strikingly clean design as compared to the majority of MMA apparel, with minimal branding on front and back and metallic screenprint graphics. Likewise, the Jon “Bones” Jones 3 UFC 128 Walk Out T-Shirt features a uniquely straightforward design on a quality 100% cotton slim fit tee. Both of these shirts were the official walk out shirts, as seen at UFC 128, so own a piece of history courtesy of FORM Athletics, available at TruckerDeluxe.com.
Just in time for spring break, we’ve re-upped our selection of Nixon watches on TruckerDeluxe with some totally new, and a few completely different, styles. The Nixon 51-30 Chrono Leather is Nixon’s top on the line 51-30 Chrono watch on a premium leather band for a classic, classy look and the impeccable performance that the 51-30 is famous for. The Nixon Chronicle Watch (below) takes a sleeker, more straighforward approach, with stainless steel case, mineral crystal and oversized triple gasket crown for an almost military look. If you’re tired of looking so serious though, you can add some color to your life with the Nixon Time Teller P in Blue X (bottom) a super affordable plastic band watch with tonal matte finish that’s definitely a unique look. Also available in equally delicious Sea Foam Green. And there’s plenty more Nixon where that came from: check our full selection of Nixon watches, apparel and accessories on TruckerDeluxe here.
The second segment of our Obey for Spring 2011 is online now, including the usual selection of dope tees (such as the three-quarter sleeve Valhalla), hoodies (like the Creature Comfort Pullover), denim and two new colorways of the already classic Obey Original Snapback. A classic 80/20 cotton/poly snapback hat, the Obey Original Snapback has a vintage deadstock feel with Obey’s instantly recognizable design. The Heather Grey/Black above is my jam, but the Original Snapback is also available in Black/Red for Bulls fans or dudes who just dig that combo. But if you’re not on board the snapback train yet, it’s definitely all good. Obey’s Spring 2011 line also includes some dope fitteds, like the Standard Issue (below) a New Era 59fifty in a sick wool/viscose blend with applique felt Obey logo for premium style. Check out our full selection of Obey apparel, denim and accessories, on TruckerDeluxe.com here.
When it comes to the world of men’s accessories, most dudes devote exceptional amounts of time and effort, not to mention money, to securing the proper headwear, watch and sunglasses, all of which are definitely important. But you’d be suprised at the number of dudes who come to the counter to pay for their crisp new snapback, blinged out watch and badass shades, only to pull out some some crappy, 10-year old pleather wallet or worse yet, a wad of cards and cash just loosely thrown in the front pocket of their jeans. The moral of the story: If you’re gonna come correct, you can’t forget about your wallet. You can be the boss of the bar on a Friday night, looking tight in your new fit, but when you go to buy a girl a drink, if you pull a bunch of crinkled up ones and fives our of your back pocket or some “My Fist Wallet” Mervyns-special, you’re game will be officially recognized as “Not Tight.” But sprucing up your wallet style doesn’t necessarily mean that you need to empty out the one you got. Our friends at Nixon (who, chances are, made that blinged out watch the dude was buying above) also make a wide array of dope but affordable wallets, both full size and card size, as well as money clips. The Basin Card Wallet (above in , is a full-grain leather card wallet with three card slots, one multi-purpose slot and a mesh-covered ID slot making it the perfect wallet for a night on the town. If you’re looking for a daily driver, the Nixon Rubber Showdown Wallet (shown below in Blue) is a versatile and durable full-sized wallet available in a multitude of colors, with a rubber outer, featuring a leather band, rubber and PU inner with card slots, zip pocket and clear ID slot and good old fashioned money slot for you to keep all the cash you in. Check out our full selection of Nixon wallets, watches and apparel on TruckerDeluxe here.
