The waves off Teahupo’o Tahiti are known as basically the gnarliest of the gnar; but last August, during the waiting period before the Billabong Pro the waves were so gnarly that the French Navy threatened to arrest anyone who tried to ride. So of course everyone, including cameraman Chris Bryan hit the water and captured what is doubtlessly some of the most epic surfing caught on film to date. PROTIP: put that shit in 720p

Oakland based clothing company Teruo Artistry has released an updated version of their original Ice Cube / Oakland Raiders mash-up t-shirt, which is by far the single most requested, called/emailed/facebook-ed about t-shirt in the history of t-shirts. The new verion of the Teruo “Ice” t-shirt features the same original graphic depicting rapper Ice Cube as the iconic Oakland Raiders’ pirate, but with a few new twists, including a bandana concealing Cube’s true identity (which probably isn’t an accident) and some upgraded styling on both the front and reverse. Check out this shirt and our entire selection of mens Teruo clothing online at TruckerDeluxe.com.
This past Saturday’s UFC 139 undercard match between our friend Wanderlei Silva and fellow MMA elder statesman (and actor) Cung Le was widely predicted to be the swan song loss for the aging Silva, whose previous bout was an almost comically short defeat at the hands of Chris Leben by knockout 27 seconds into the first round. Instead, Silva showed more than a few glimpses of the power and poise that has made him one of the most popular MMA fighters of all-time in his second round TKO of a bloodied Cung Le. In typical War Wand fashion, Silva couldn’t help but crack a few jokes at Le’s expense in the post-fight interview, telling MMA Heat’s Karen Bryant that he did Le a “favor” by breaking his nose, making the actor, who is set to play the leading role in the upcoming Dragon Eyes also starring Jean-Claude Van Damme, look like a “real” fighter. Video and pics of Le’s nose after the jump: [click to continue…]
