The latest signature shoe collab from Nike’s dedicated skate line Nike SB and pro skater Paul Rodriguez is the Nike SB Paul Rodriguez V (above in Black/Silver). The shoe combines classic, clean Nike sneaker style with their latest advances in skate tech, like lunarlon cushioning and diamond flex tread. Despite what their name implies, Generic Surplus shoes are anything but generic (or surplus, for that matter) as proven once again by their latest shoe for Spring 2012, the deliciously striped canvas Borstal. Say what you will about dubstep, but you can’t deny that Skrillex is one of the hottest names in music right now. He was featured on the front page of the New York Times arts section today and along with his trademark flowing locks and oversized frames, he was rocking a Falling Whistle necklace. For those unaware, Falling Whistles is a company dedicated to bringing attention to the plight of children soldiers in the Democratic Republic of Congo, with proceeds from the sale of every whistle going towards programs aimed to help end the war.
